Definition

The IELTS is an international standardized test of English-language proficiency jointly managed by the University of Cambridge, the British Council and the Australian organization IDP Education. It tests candidates’ ability to speak, understand and write English. There are two versions of the test: the Academic Version and the General Training Version. HEC Montréal candidates must register for the Academic Version.
