Definition |
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) assesses a person’s ability to reason and analyze. It measures certain skills that are essential to success in management studies.
The GMAT is divided into four sections. One section involves writing a text, whereas the other three sections consist of multiple-choice questions.
Preparing for the test |
Candidates are highly encouraged to prepare well before attempting the GMAT, ideally several weeks before the test date. For information, refer to the official GMAT site.
HEC Montréal also offers a preparation workshop (offered in French only) for those who wish to hone certain math concepts.
