Translated Title"Workplace Conflicts: How to Cope with Problem Situations"SummaryThis seminar is available in French only The workplace is in a constant state of flux, which often translates into a climate of uncertainly and instability. Who hasn’t witnessed workplace conflicts first hand? Who hasn’t faced problems that have resulted in tension, confrontation and misunderstanding? It takes a special set of skills and procedures to manage conflict – not improvisation and luck. Today’s managers need to hone their knowledge and abilities to be able to cope effectively. These situations may be the result of a clash between two or more people. Or the source may be a single employee who is struggling because of a lack of workplace skills, psychological problems or difficulties adapting to change. This seminar looks at how to assess a conflict situation between two or more people or problems involving a single individual and pinpoint the most important factors. It presents courses of action that may be used to help resolve these situations. Workshop Director
