Like many others, you would like to become a better communicator, because verbal skills are key to true success in your management career. How you express yourself reveals your degree of conviction, the clarity of your thinking and the sincerity that drives you. This course will help you better deliver information, influence decisions and motivate, call to action or sell an idea to your colleagues, your organization’s senior managers or other groups.
To reach your objectives, you will learn the basics of public speaking, including:
- Planning your presentation
- Structuring your ideas
- Cutting down on preparation time
- Influencing by using your voice and body
- Getting over stage fright
- Using effective visual support
You’ll move from theory to practice by giving oral presentations that will be followed by structured feedback from the instructors.

Provide participants with the basics of successful public speaking:
- planning your presentation;
- organizing your ideas;
- minimizing your prep time;
- using your voice and body language to make your point;
- conquering anxiety;
- making the most of visuals.
The program features a combination of theoretical presentations and practical exercises. As part of the hands-on approach, each participant will have to prepare and deliver two presentations (30 seconds and one minute) on the first day. During the second day, participants will have the opportunity to deliver two one-minute individual presentations and prepare one five-minute group presentation.
The instructors will provide their feedback after each presentation, using an assessment grid.
Executives, managers, consultants, professionals and heads of various kinds of organizations.
