In today's business world, employee health and well-being are more front and centre than ever. Long-term absenteeism for psychological reasons is on the rise. And with the growing number of retirements and a looming labour shortage on the horizon, employers are increasingly turning to methods designed to support their people's efforts to better manage stress, prevent job-related problems and promote a healthy workplace.

+   Objectives

This seminar will help participants to:

  • learn what stress is and what causes and exacerbates it
  • recognize the symptoms of job-related stress and identify the underlying factors
  • assess their own ability to cope with stress and develop resiliency
  • identify individuals at risk of burning out and ways of assisting them
  • determine methods of managing stress in order to contain the fallout when problems do erupt
  • adopt personal strategies for managing stress and maintaining healthy habits
  • find out which organizational strategies can help prevent stress-related problems and promote a healthy workplace.
