analyse de rentabilité et de risque

Translated Title

"Investments: Profitability and Risk Analysis"

Summary

Evaluating an investment project requires an in-depth knowledge of several different concepts: value of money over time, risk factors, impact of inflation, decision-making criteria, etc. It also takes certain technical skills, such as proficiency with computers and financial software, and finally a clear understanding of the sector where the investment will be made and keen judgement when it comes to interpreting the various financial hypotheses involved in the appraisal process.

The purposes of this activity are to enable participants to:

  • familiarize themselves with discounting techniques;
  • learn and use profitability and risk analysis methods to evaluate investment projects;
  • decipher the costs essential to decision-making;
  • recognize the value of various decision-making criteria.
