In conjunction with HEC Montréal's Centre for Research on Organizational Transformation (CETO)

Helping employees cope with organizational change is a vital competency that today's managers need to perfect. In our day-to-day activities, we too often forget that the key to successful change is commitment on the part of individuals toward modifying their habits. Managers must play a front-line role in cultivating new practices by gaining a better understanding of their employees and interacting with them in a meaningful way.

In this program, participants will become acquainted with a number of practical models and tools to effectively deal with the human aspect of change. What do we know about the way people usually react in a situation of change? What are the underlying causes of resistance to change? What are the best ways to meet the needs of individuals and help them develop their capacity to tolerate change?

This seminar will enable participants to become familiar with the concerns that employees have when change occurs and to ensure their own involvement is effective and adapted to the needs of their people. In addition to helping you better grasp the repercussions of change, we will also help you discover ways to actually influence the transition process.
