Improvements in organizational performance are often achieved through continuous improvements to management processes or operational procedures. A number of approaches are used, but which is the best one for your organization? Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, PVA, Lean Sigma or TQM?
This course presents eight different approaches. We will study them to better understand the specifics of each one, how to tell them apart, and above all, how to choose the one that best suits your type of organization. We will do so by means of discussions, exercises and real-world case studies drawn from a variety of milieus both here and abroad, in countries including the United States and Japan.
