Translated Title"How to Prevent and Detect Employee Fraud and Embezzlement"SummaryThis seminar is available in French only. This program takes a look at the most common forms of employee fraud and embezzlement in a corporate context. The main goal of this seminar is to sensitize participants to the various kinds of wrong-doing that can sap a firm's resources, harm their credibility, undermine their reputation and sometimes even force them into bankruptcy. In a context where risk is omnipresent, this program will increase awareness of certain threats and help identify ways of preventing and detecting them. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn about the "doctrine of incompatible offices" that can lead an individual to commit fraud and cover it up. Using case studies and practical examples, participants will evaluate risk factors associated with fraud and embezzlement. Armed with this information, they can develop a matrix that they can use to come up with effective control activities in terms of prevention and detection. Workshop Director |
