Today's manager must be able to anticipate the impacts of this phenomenon on organizational management and cope with the change from an information- and knowledge-based society to a creative economy fuelled by collective conception, design and development. The focus of the program is on the dynamics and context of innovation and the integration of knowledge through the management of creative undertakings. It will also explore emerging practices for creators and creative communities and strategies for optimizing the value of their contributions. Various concrete examples from throughout North America and around the world will be presented, hailing from a wide variety of industries, including the high-tech (telecom, aerospace, IT), biotechnology, multimedia, advertising, industrial design, fashion and performing arts sectors.
