Translated Title

"Building and Managing a Strong Board of Directors or Advisory Board for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses"

Summary

This seminar is available in French only.

In the wake of the financial scandals that have occurred in recent years, corporate management is in the public spotlight, now more than ever. The issue is being discussed and deliberated in many circles in order to provide better protection to investors and improve corporate performance. Small and medium-sized business owners are not immune to this trend and are facing some sizeable challenges in this regard.

Boards of directors are playing an increasingly significant role in corporate management. And SMB owners are seeking a governance model that is adapted to their situation and does not unnecessarily weigh down the management process.

This one-day seminar provides a basic introduction to the core concepts involved in setting up and running an effective board of directors. Participants will also learn how qualified directors can make a positive contribution in terms of making key decisions, analyzing complex situations and implementing effective business strategies.
