General Information - CFA® training programs


  Registration Information
  • Program description offers a «Register» link; complete the form and send it immediately. 
  • As soon as you’ve submitted your registration form, you’ll receive a confirmation of receipt by e-mail, followed by another one, along with an invoice, by regular mail.

We are unable to confirm your enrolment until registration fees have been paid.


 Fees
  • 895 $ (tax free)
  • 795 $ (tax free) - HEC graduates (3 years or less) and/or current HEC students (please provide your degree or transcript)

Fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the program. Course material fees for individual study between sessions are not included. You may pay by credit card or by cheque payable to «HEC Montréal». Payment by Interac is not available. Parking fees are not included.

 Educational materials

The program has been developed on the basis of the CFA Institute curriculum and Schweser’s educational materials. Participants in the program may purchase the Schweser educational materials for levels I - II or III at a special price of USD 299 (compared to USD 599) for the “Essential Study Package” package which includes:

  • Study notes;

  • Schweser Pro Online Question Bank.

Only those participants who have paid all registration fees due will be entitled to the discount rate. Schweser educational materials are not compulsory.

 Cancellation policy

A verbal cancellation, followed by a written confirmation is required for all cancellations. Participants incur the following fees or penalties for withdrawing from a course:

  • As of 4:00 p.m. Friday, before the third class: 100% of registration fees due;

  • After the first class: 25% of registration fees due.

HEC Montréal reserves the right to cancel any training program. If a program is cancelled, HEC Montréal's liability is limited to a full refund of the registration fees already paid.

 Location

CFA® trainings programs are conducted at HEC Montréal, 3000 chemin Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal, from 6:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m., unless otherwise indicated. The administrative offices for the Executive Education program are located in Suite 3.133, on the third floor of the building's north-east wing. As the participant of an open enrollment program, you will receive a notice advising you the location of your course, i.e. either the 1st floor or 3rd floor (The Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view and print this document).
