  • If you’re an international student, you may be eligible for a differential tuition fee waiver, which is obtained by submitting a request to Quebec’s department of education, the Ministère de l’éducation du Québec.

  • Governmental financial assistance: Eligible Canadian students may receive student loans from their respective provincial government. Refer to the Government of Quebec’s loans and bursaries program Web site for more information. Unlike typical bank loans, this type of loan is tailored to students, who start repaying the loan only after completing their studies.

  • Grants: You might be eligible for a government grant that could be used to cover some of your study-related expenses. For example, you may qualify if you are a person with a disability, a single parent or a high-level athlete who is a member of a recognized sporting federation.
