Associate Professor Yany Grégoire (Marketing) has won the international Best Reviewer Award from the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS), a publication included on the prestigious Financial Times list.
He will officially receive the distinction at the annual Academy of Marketing Science conference, to be held in California, from May 24 to 27, 2017. Only 5 of the Journal’s close to 170 permanent reviewers received this honour, and Professor Grégoire is the only professor from a Canadian university on this selective, short list.
He holds the Chair in Service Marketing and Customer Experience, launched in June 2014, and has a PhD in Marketing from the University of Western Ontario (Ivey) and an MSc from HEC Montréal. He has been with the School since 2010, after teaching at Washington State University for six years from 2004, where he received a number of awards for the quality of his teaching and research.
In addition to JAMS, he has had papers published in various other leading journals, including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Retailing, MIT Sloan Management Review and Personnel Psychology.
