CPA – An HEC Montréal graduate wins the Gold Medal for Quebec on the Common Final Examination

Congratulations to Michael Bourbonnais, who achieved the highest standing in Quebec on the latest CPA Canada Common Final Examination. Michael completed the CPA Canada Professional Education Program offered by HEC Montréal. He will receive a $2,500 cash prize from CPA Canada, as well as a $1,500 cash prize from the CPA Foundation.

Marc-Antoine Dagenais, a graduate of the Specialized Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting - CPA program, also made the Honour Roll for the top 20 CFE results from across Canada.

HEC Montréal offers its heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates of its Specialized Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting - CPA program and students in the CPA Canada Professional Education Program at HEC Montréal who passed the May 2016 CFE. The three-day national exam is a crucial step that candidates must complete in order to obtain their professional designation as CPAs. Overall, 178 Quebec candidates passed the national examination held this spring, with three of them making the National Honour Roll.
