The HEC Montréal delegation of some thirty BBA students and one certificate student took first place overall at the 23rd edition of the Happening Marketing. This interuniversity marketing competition, the largest of its kind in Eastern Canada, brought together more than 500 students from over 10 Canadian universities from March 20 to 22 at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
The School’s students racked up both team and individual honours in several events. The competition is divided into four components: academic (case competitions and a quiz), sports, social and participation.
This year’s winners:
INDIVIDUAL (MVP – MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS)
A number of other HEC Montréal students also competed: Laurence Archambault, Roxanne Cardinal, Jany Desrosiers, Diane Gabla, Alexandre Laganière, Francis Laviolette, Laurent Loiseau, Mathieu Peloquin, Mathieu Primeau Tamborini, Phillipe Reney,* Kim Roy, Simon Thellend and Aurélie Tisseur.
