Linda Pepin a star in the information security field

September 22, 2014

Full-time Lecturer Linda Pepin has won the Lise Blais-Paques award from the Association de la sécurité de l’information du Montréal métropolitain (ASIMM), for her extensive and significant contribution to the development of information security in Quebec. She received this honour at the ASIMM President’s cocktail reception, in September.

Linda Pepin holds an MBA from UQAM and has been teaching at HEC Montréal for over a decade. She is an entrepreneur with a rather unusual background, having worked in both large and small companies, and played an important part in creating and running the Certificate in information and systems security analysis program, in co-operation with Full Professor Line Dubé (IT) and professionals from Desjardins. The certificate program, offered at the School since the fall of 2012, has 12 graduates and 212 students currently enrolled.
