August 12, 2014

HEC Montréal congratulates the 122 graduates of the prestigious 2014 Space Studies Program organized by the International Space University (ISU). Among them, three of the School’s students: Louis-Étienne Dubois (PhD), Karima Laib and William Ricard (MSc)! For nine intensive weeks, from June 9 to August 8, they participated in this special program that gave them a chance to benefit from the unique expertise available at HEC Montréal in the areas of economic and social impacts of space, aerospace project management analysis and innovation, creativity and knowledge management.

In co-operation with ÉTS, HEC Montréal hosted a number of major events as part of this unique program, including an all-female international astronaut panel, a robotics competition and even a model rocket launch!

The program brought together astronauts from around the world, leaders of national space agencies, world-renowned academics and researchers, CEOs of international space companies as well as entrepreneurs from innovative start-ups. This was the first time the Space Studies Program was offered in Montreal, and it proved to be an exceptional educational experience for everyone involved.
