Thomas_Sychterz_eThomas Sychterz, co-founder of the up-and-coming Wipebook company, won 3rd place in the MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award category at the highly prestigious AMBA Awards organized by the UK Association of MBAs.

The awards were presented on October 30 in London, England, at the Association’s annual gala. Thomas was accompanied by HEC Montréal MBA Program Director Michael Wybo.

The MBA Entrepreneurial Venture Award was created to celebrate entrepreneurship, support the business schools that encourage it and recognize and reward creativity in MBA programs.

The gala, bringing together businesspeople, alumni and journalists from around the world, is an excellent international showcase for Thomas Sychterz, his company and, at the same time, HEC Montréal and its MBA program.

The School was accredited by AMBA in 2002, an honour that has since been twice renewed, in 2007 and 2012.
