Ma carrière : an innovative Web portal with internship, supervised project and job postings

Career Management Services at HEC Montréal recently launched a new Web portal, Ma carrière, giving 27,379 students and alumni access to internship, supervised project and job postings by businesses.
Employers are invited to create an account and post openings free of charge. If they are looking for even greater visibility, they can also choose to pay a modest fee and have their postings appear on the Web portal’s home page, where they will be given star billing.
“We are very proud to launch this new tool,” says Pierre Francq, Director of the Career Management Services department. “Thanks to this user-friendly, intuitive portal, students and alumni can now receive job alerts that match their own search criteria. And they can add documents to their files to make it easy to apply quickly for jobs that match their interests. The tool will also help us build stronger connections with top-notch employers, in Quebec, across Canada and abroad.”
Professors responsible for the various specializations will also find it a useful tool for posting research and teaching assistant positions. Students interested in applying for these positions will be able to submit their résumés on-line.
