First place in the Haskayne 24 Hour Case Competition

March 12, 2013

The School’s delegation of MBA students, made up of William Bibeau-Blanchard, Pascal Leduc, Sarah Mitchell and Marta Takla-Pique, took top honours in the Haskayne 24 Hour Case Competition, held at the Haskayne School of Business (University of Calgary) from March 6 to 9. The winners were awarded an $8,000 prize.

This was the fourth edition of this competition, bringing together 16 teams from universities across Canada. They had just 24 hours to find a solution to a real-life business problem, and then present it to a jury of senior business executives from the Calgary community. The teams were judged on creativity, insight and plausibility of implementation.

The School’s team was ably coached by Assistant Professor Brian King (Management). Our congratulations to them all!
