Partnership agreement with the MDI Algiers Business School

June 6, 2013

On June 4, HEC Montréal was pleased to welcome Brahim Benabdeslem, Dean of the MDI-Business School. Michel Patry, Director of HEC Montréal, and the head of Algeria’s first private university-level business school took the opportunity to sign a partnership agreement aimed at establishing fruitful collaboration between the two institutions.

One of the specific objectives of the framework agreement is to offer HEC Montréal study and executive training courses locally, in Algiers. With this in mind and in order to lay the groundwork for the future, various meetings were held on June 4 with some of the School’s program directors and with the academic supervisor of Energy Sector programs and officials from the overseas executive training department.

The agreement also includes running a train-the-trainer program, producing teaching materials and writing case studies specific to the Algerian context.

At HEC Montréal, Hassan Taghvaï and Narimane Atchi, from the overseas executive training department, have been assigned responsibility for the framework agreement.
