Nearly $65,000 for scholarships raised at the benefit golf tournament

October 12, 2012

The School’s fifth annual benefit golf tournament, organized by the HEC Montréal Foundation and held on September 24 at the Beaconsfield Golf Club, raised about $65,000. The funds will be used to support students acquiring international experience during their time at the School and will go toward funding travel bursaries for the Passport to the World international exchange program, the Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society and Campus Abroad trips.

This year’s co-patrons were Kimberly Cosgrove (EMBA McGill - HEC Montréal 2010), Vice-President and CEO of Cogela, and Carlo Massicolli, Vice-President and General Partner, Business Development, Desjardins Private Management. The event brought together over 125 School alumni, donors and friends.

Once again this year, the HEC Montréal Cup was awarded to the winning foursome. Congratulations to the team of Réal Jacob, Director, Research Development, Knowledge Transfer and Executive Education and Full Professor at HEC Montréal, who earned a score of 65 using the Vegas formula!

The Foundation wishes to thank the tournament co-patrons and players and the many sponsors, including lead sponsors Desjardins Private Management, Cogela, Les Trois Producteurs, Vins Balthazard and Coop HEC Montréal.
