Five students win scholarships from the CAIA Association

December 5, 2012

The Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA) has awarded scholarships worth approximately US$1,500 to five HEC Montréal students, based on their academic record, work experience and career paths. They are: Guillaume Boutin and Oscar Nyemb (specialized graduate diploma in Financial Professions), Arnaud Lerebours and Thomas Terrats (MSc, Finance option), and Virginie Séguin-Dalpé (BBA, Finance specialization).

The scholarships were awarded as part of a university partnership agreement signed in June 2010 between the School and the CAIA Association. Under this agreement, the Association committed itself to offering five scholarships every six months to deserving HEC Montréal students, to help them as they work toward attaining the CAIA designation, the only professional designation focused exclusively on alternative investments.

Congratulations to all five recipients!
