Benefit Golf Tournament: Supporting international experiences

September 28, 2011

The 4th edition of the HEC Montréal benefit golf tournament raised $80,000. The funds will be used to support students acquiring international experience during their time at the School and will go toward funding travel bursaries for the Passport to the World international exchange program, the Summer School on Management of Creativity in an Innovation Society and Campus Abroad trips.

On September 19, over 150 alumni, donors and friends of the School took advantage of a superb day at the Beaconsfield Golf Club to do their part for the next generation of managers. Carlo Massicolli, Vice-President and General Partner, Business Development, Desjardins Private Management, and Vincent Bastien (BBA 2004), Partner, Les Trois producteurs, served as co-patrons of the event, organized by the HEC Montréal Foundation

This year, for the first time, the HEC Montréal Cup was awarded to the winning foursome. Congratulations to the members of the foursome, who achieved a score of 62 using the Vegas formula: Stéphane Hébert, Partner, Miller Thomson Lawyers, Julien Métivier, Chair of the Board, IPL, Jocelyn Beauchesne, Vice-President, Commercial and Industrial, Mouvement Desjardins, and Carlo Massicolli, co-patron of the event.

The Foundation wishes to thank the tournament co-patrons and players and the many sponsors, including lead sponsors Desjardins Private Management, Les Trois producteurs, Vins Balthazar, Tapeo, Médias Transcontinental and Coop HEC Montréal.
