Luciano Barin Cruz Wins an Award of Outstanding Achievement from the Emerald Literati Network

The Emerald Literati Network recently gave Luciano Barin Cruz its 2011 Outstanding Reviewer Award for the exceptional quality of his contribution as a scientific reviewer for the Management Decision journal.

The Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence are presented by the Emerald Group, which produces some 200 English-language scientific and professional publications. The award presented to Luciano Barin Cruz recognizes the important role of scientific reviewers in ensuring the quality and reputation of learned journals. The winners are selected by the editor in chief of each journal.

Mr. Barin Cruz, an Assistant Professor with the Management Department, joined HEC Montréal in 2009. He holds a PhD in Management Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande Do Sul and another PhD in the same discipline from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. His main fields of interest are alleviating poverty through corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainable development, and CSR and international management.
