François Carrillat Wins an Award of Outstanding Achievement from the Emerald Literati Network

June 28, 2011

The Emerald Literati Network recently gave François Carrillat its 2011 Outstanding Reviewer Award for the exceptional quality of his contribution as a scientific reviewer for the European Journal of Marketing.

The Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence are presented by the Emerald Group, which produces some 200 English-language scientific and professional publications. The award presented to Associate Professor François Carrillat recognizes the important role of scientific reviewers in ensuring the quality and reputation of learned journals. The winners are selected by the editor in chief of each journal.

Earlier, Professor Carrillat received the Best Reviewer Award from the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice in 2008, and the Society for Marketing Advances honoured him with its 2009 Best Paper Award for an article in that Journal. The winning article, written with two other authors, was entitled “Examining the Impact of Service Quality: A Meta-Analysis of Empirical Evidence.” Also in 2009, Professor Carrillat received the Young Researcher Award from HEC Montréal.

Professor Carrillat continues to serve as a scientific reviewer for the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Advertising, the International Journal of Arts Management and the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice; he also sits on the editorial committee of the latter publication.
