SAP: A Record Number of Graduates Earn Certification This Year

August 31, 2010

Many of the HEC Montréal BBA, MSc and MBA students who sat the TERP10 exams in May and June this year earned their SAP certification. There are now 41 more members (see list here) in the select group of SAP Certified Business Associates from HEC Montréal, the highest number since 2002.

The School is particularly proud of its MBA students’ results, as they turned in a 92% pass rate, as compared with a global pass rate of just 53%.

The next training sessions and TERP10 exams for BBA, MSc and MBA students will be held in spring 2011. Note that for the first time, students enrolled in one of the School’s  20 certificate programs may also write the SAP certification exam.

SAP certification in great demand

SAP is one of the leading providers of e-business software solutions in the world. Graduates with SAP certification have a definite head start on the job market.
The certification program helps students work with SAP R/3, a software package in the mySAP Business Suite. Commonly known as ERP (for Enterprise Resource Planning), the integrated package is a complex system used to manage such business processes as accounting, finance, human resources, production, sales, purchasing and inventory, and data analysis.
