Laurent Lapierre Appointed to the Global Advisory Board of the Global School of Applied Management, in India

Laurent Lapierre is to join the Global Advisory Board of the Global School of Applied Management (GSAM), in India. The holder of the Chaire de leadership Pierre-Péladeau will help the School offer a program based on best global practices in management and leadership.

The GSAM decided to offer a program focussed on developing managerial and interpersonal competencies so as to meet the urgent need for such skills in India. Its economy is the fastest growing in the world, after China.

Professor Lapierre has long been interested in the influence of managers’ personalities on their management styles and in management behaviours that lead to success or failure. He is a member of the Order of Canada and has received many awards and distinctions over the course of his career. His numerous books and articles have been translated into many languages.
