Étienne Girardin Wins the Quebec Gold Medal from the Chartered Accountants of Canada

Photo Étienne GirardinÉtienne Girardin received the gold medal and a $2,500 cash prize from the Chartered Accountants of Canada for achieving the best standing in Quebec on the 2009 Uniform Evaluation (UFE). His exceptional results have earned him a place on the 2009 Canadian UFE Honour Roll.  

Étienne is a deputy auditor with Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche. He is currently on study leave, working as a teaching assistant with the Department of Accounting Studies at the School.  

The Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec announced this morning that 599 Quebec candidates passed the exam, considered one of the most challenging in the world.

HEC Montréal offers its warmest congratulations to Étienne Girardin and the other 160 graduates of its Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy program for their excellent performance on this exam.
