Orientation Day - MBA

Welcoming session for international students and students newly arrived in Montréal, Salon Deloitte, Thursday, August 8 in the morning (English)

International students and students newly arrived in Montréal will be welcomed by the International Student Affairs Office and the Registrar’s Office for breakfast. A workshop on living in HEC Montréal and living and finding accommodation in Montreal will take place that morning.  A guided tour of the School is also planned. International students will have to submit all official documents to finalize their admission.

Other activities

Please note that a number of welcoming activities are organized for all new MBA students during the week of August 12.  For more information, please refer to your Admission Guide.

 

What to bring?

This section is only for students with a study permit.

 

On Thursday August 8, the School will formalize your administrative record. You will need to have on hand the original of each of the following documents:

  1. Your passport
  2. Your letter of admission to HEC Montréal
  3. Your CAQ
  4. Your study permit
  5. Your temporary student visa (if required)
  6. The proof of exemption from HEC Montréal's health insurance (for more information, please check the RAMQ section on the Health Insurance webpage). Failing this, you will be asked to pay your HEC Montréal health insurance premiums by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or travallers cheques. No cash will be accepted.
  7. All the original documents mentionned in your letter of admission if you have a conditional admission (diploma, official transcript, etc...)

Note: If you forget one of these documents, your registration at HEC Montréal will not be finalized.
