A - Reserving temporary accommodation for my first few days in Montreal

We advise you to reserve temporary accommodation before your departure and to wait to be in Montreal in order to look for permanent housing.  It will only take you a couple of days to find a place that is suitable for you.

1.Personalized help drop-in sessions

Need help finding permanent housing?
Come see us all throughout orientation week for efficient and personalized help!

All throughout orientation week, members of the International Student Affairs Office will be available to help you with finding accommodation.  You will be able to conduct Internet searches, call landlords and get advice on accommodation in Québec and where best to live.  Simply come and see us at room CGI1 (see table below for schedules)! Somebody will be happy to help you!

2.Attend an "Accommodation research" workshop!

For those wishing to obtain more detailed information regarding accommodation in Montreal, a special workshop has been prepared just for you. Please note that this workshop is offered in French only.

You are alone in Montréal? You want to get the best from a roomates lifestyle? Come at our meeting point "I'm looking for a roomate" to meet the best roomate!
It is a great way to meet other HEC Montréal students and to help you get integrated into your new environment.


Important: This activity doesn't replace the Accomodation research workshop.
