We advise you to reserve temporary accommodation before your departure and to wait to be in Montreal in order to look for permanent housing.  It will only take you a couple of days to find a place that is suitable for you.

1. Housing search help

Need help finding permanent housing? Come see us during new student orientation!

During new student orientation, the Student Services team will be available to help you with your accommodation search. You will be able to conduct Internet searches, call landlords and get advice on Montréal housing. 
 

2. Attend a "Housing search" workshop

Our housing search workshop will provide detailed information for during your housing search and traps to avoid in the Montréal housing market. Please note that this workshop is offered in French only.

 

3. I'm looking for a roomate!

Did you come to Montreal by yourself? You want to get the best from a roommate lifestyle? You are not alone. Attend our 'Je cherche un colocataire' (I'm looking for a roommate) workshop during new student orientation! It is a great way to meet other HEC Montréal students and to help you get integrated into your new environment.

Note: This activity doesn't replace the housing search workshop.
