HEC Montreal mandatory insurance: SunLife

All international students are automatically enrolled in the School's health insurance plan for international students (SunLife) as soon as they register at HEC Montréal.

This medical insurance plan covers the student for medical and hospital expenses, as well as for prescription medication. It does not cover costs related to dental or eye care (glasses).

Travel insurance or insurance from your country will not be accepted by the School. Therefore, avoid enrolling in another insurance plan as it will not exempt you from the School's insurance!
