Gifts of Residual Interest

Donate a property while you continue to use and enjoy it.

Who is this type of giving for?

If you plan to leave a given property to the HEC Montréal Foundation in your will, a gift of residual interest may be worth considering to maximize your benefits.

Donor benefits

A gift of residual interest lets you make a significant contribution to the HEC Montréal Foundation by donating a property (e.g., your home or cottage) while still retaining the right to use and enjoy it during your lifetime. You will receive an immediate donation receipt for the current value of the residual interest.
