General information: Symposiums and presentations


Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be issued only to the credit card used to complete the original transaction.
  • Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Please direct any such messages to the event coordinator, using the contact information found at the bottom of the event page.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within two business days of the event or no-shows. Substitutes are permitted with advance notice at no extra cost.  
  • We reserve the right to cancel any activity, in which case our liability will be limited to refunding registration fees paid to us.
  • Tax receipts are not available for symposium and presentation fees.

NB: Conference Board of Canada events and the Executive Education HEC Montréal lecture series are not refundable.


Information Privacy and Security Policy

Online purchases made on the HEC Montréal website conform to SSL data transmission standards, the aim of which is to secure your transaction-related information. Messages are encrypted to ensure they cannot be intercepted, altered or deciphered by a third party. Any payment details are processed directly by Desjardins, our financial services provider. As such, HEC Montréal does not have access to your credit card number.
