This practical, interactive program is for professionals who are regularly called on to work with family-run businesses.

Professionals who work with family-run businesses on a routine basis realize that a better understanding of their clients is the key to serving them more efficiently. And families in business are eager to have access to partners who are more suitably equipped to accommodate their needs. It is these two main thrusts that this program is intended to explore.

More and more, professionals from a wide range of disciplines must deal with challenges outside of their own sphere of expertise and manage family-related issues that are oftentimes difficult to pin down. This program is intended to give them the tools and the information required to broaden their skill sets and gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics inherent in a family firm.

Goals

  • Consolidate participants’ knowledge of the dynamics of family-run businesses based on existing models.
  • Provide tools to help participants deal with family-run businesses more efficiently at every stage of their development.
