Gilles Duruflé is an independent consultant advising venture capital and private equity funds. He is also the executive vice-president of the Quebec City Conference and president and its Public Policy Forum on Venture Capital and Innovation, an international platform with members from 13 countries on four continents.
He previously served as a senior partner at CDP Capital Technology Ventures, the venture capital subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. In this role, he was in charge of the funds of funds portfolio investing in North American and European venture capital funds.

Member of the expert committee tasked with informing the federal government’s Venture Capital Action Plan and the International Private Equity Valuation Board (IPEV) between 2004 and 2012.
