Denise Paré-Julien is the director of the Deschênes-Molson-Lesage Family Business Centre at HEC Montréal. She is the former president of the Business Families Foundation, where she helped create various programs and tools for family-owned firms. She has served as a consultant, speaker and coach for a number of business families.
Ms. Paré-Julien was the head of customer service for the Fonds de solidarité FTQ for several years. She holds degrees from HEC Montréal and the Université du Québec à Montréal and is a member of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise. She also has a certificate from the Family Firm Institute (FFI) in Boston, was named a FFI fellow in 2008 and has served on the body of knowledge committee. Among the universities Ms. Paré-Julien has worked with are the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in HEC Montréal, Mexico, McGill University, University of British Columbia, University of Alberta and Dalhousie University. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
