The IFSID derivative training cycle is a professional development program offering comprehensive, up-to-date information on derivatives and structured products, their markets, strategies, risk management, back-office operations, and accounting and legal considerations.
The modular structure of this program (one introductory module offered in french and english, six modules on various types of derivatives and four modules on specialized topics) offers a high degree of flexibility to cater to your specific needs, allowing you to register for only those courses you wish to take out of the 90-hour cycle. Each module is taught by an industry expert whose hands-on knowledge and operational know-how will shed light on the latest market practices. All classes are held at HEC Montréal (three-hour class on a weekday evening, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
We recommend starting with the introductory module, but you are free to pick and choose your courses as you see fit.
Six-hour module (two evenings): $695 + taxes

The derivative training cycle is designed to cater to the needs of professionals who work with derivatives on a regular basis, in particular legal practitioners, accountants, back-office staff, corporate treasurers, retail brokers, auditors, compliance experts and corporate directors.
Participants in the IFSID personalized training program will receive a certificate of completion from Executive Education HEC Montréal and the IFSID.
