On-campus recruiting usually takes place during the fall session.  It is a process where companies organize information sessions and post job offers focused on graduating students who are in their final year of studies.  Usually the starting date is planned for the following year. Just-in-time recruiting is held throughout the year to fill positions within a relatively short time period.
