Student Services' psychologist is available to meet with students for confidential consultations - all you need to do is call!
Individual consultations Your first appointment with the psychologist, which is free, consists of an informal interview during which you will discuss your situation, talk about your needs and the difficulties that you are facing. This is also an apportunity to ask all your questions. The psychologist will evaluate your needs and discuss the conclusions of his assessment with you, as well as suggestions for procedures or actions to undertake. Depending on the agreement with the psychologist, your case could be transferred to an external resource. HEC Montréal students benefit from a preferrential rate for psychotherapy. The associated fees vary according to the number of credits you are registered for.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure Are you concerned about a student in distress? Do you feel threatened or bothered by someone's agressive or strange behavior? If you find yourself in such a situation and would like a second opinion or some sound advice, you can contact the School's psychologist at any time. In situations of emergency outside of School opening hours, you can contact Security Services at 514-340-6611 (CSC) or 514-340-6969 (DEC).
