HEC Montréal’s daycare centre (CPE-HEC) accommodates 110 children: 20 infants from 3 to 18 months of age and 90 children ranging in age from 19 months to 5 years. The CPE-HEC is located at 5550 Louis-Colin Avenue, near the Côte-Sainte-Catherine building and at 5305, avenue Decelles, near the Decelles building.
The centre has adopted the educational program "Accueillir la petite enfance" (PDF - 2,55 Mo- in French only), which was developed by the Ministère de la Famille et des Aînés and seeks to promote children’s overall development. The program’s activities are part of an approach that combines all dimensions of development: socio-affective, moral, linguistic, cognitive and psychomotor.
The HEC daycare centre serves a hot meal at noon as well as two snacks. The menus are varied and well-balanced and are prepared in accordance with the Canada Food Guide.

In general, minor children accompanying their parents in Quebec or came to join one of his relatives holding of a work permit must obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) for studies as well as a study permit issued by the Government of Canada. These requirements apply to the minor child from primary education.
