Results on HEC en ligne

Results are published on HEC en ligne in general 15 working days after the scheduled final exam. Afterwards, if the results are not posted, the student can contact the academic department.

Transmission of results for courses taken outside of HEC Montréal

The result of a course taken elsewhere than HEC Montréal will initially be available on the portal of the host institution. It will then be forwarded by the host university to HEC Montréal through the Authorization to transfer credits form. This process may take a few weeks. Once submitted, a note will be posted on the Authorization to transfer credits form. The result will then appear and on your transcript through “my profile” via HEC en ligne.

"With Great Distinction" citation on transcript

As from fall 2015, students will receive a citation of excellence (“with great distinction”) each term where their cumulative grade-point average (CGPA) is at least 3.5 (undergraduate) or at least 3.8 (graduate, except PhD) as long as the number of credits reaches 15.

"With great distinction"... a seal of quality

This citation of excellence says a great deal about the merits and achievements of a student or graduate.

It salutes the individual’s commitment and hard work, and is sure to help open all kinds of doors—when looking for a job, applying for bursaries or scholarships, or seeking admission to a graduate or post-graduate program.

As we all know, marking systems vary from one university to another around the world. This citation of excellence will serve as a seal of quality, attesting to students’ and graduates’ skills and achievements, wherever they go.
