These $2 000 to $ 4 000 scholarships are awarded by the M. Sc. Program Office to the best students admitted on the basis of their outstanding admission portfolios.
Moreover, international students that have never studied in Canada might also receive a differential tuition fee exemption for their first semester.These exemptions lower the tuition fees payable by these students to the same level as those paid by students from Quebec. This differential tuition fee exemption could be renewed for three subsequent semesters, if the student apply and submit all required documentation. The Graduation Scholarships are intended to encourage MSc students to complete their studies in 5 semesters or less. They are automatically awarded once the research projet grade has been updated into the student's file. The Office of the MSc program contacts the recipients directly by email.

A limited number of $2,500 scholarships are offered to students who complete a project abroad (exchange, thesis abroad, supervised project abroad, other research project).These scholarships are granted by private businesses, foundations, and are administered by HEC Montréal. The number of awards available in a given year varies according to the funds available.
