Two programs of study - M.Sc. and M.Sc.P.

If you are required to register in foundation or preparatory courses, you will have two active programs of study on HEC en ligne: M.Sc. for all courses in the Master’s program and M.Sc.P. for all foundation and preparatory courses.

Propeadeutic courses

  • Foundation courses are worth 1 credit and amount to 15 course hours each.

  • They must be passed within the first year (3 terms) of your program.

  • You must register for these courses through the M.Sc.P. program of study.

  • You will receive a grade of ES (requirement met) if you pass the course or E (failure) if you fail.

Preparatory courses

  • Preparatory courses are undergraduate courses (third year of the BBA program) and are usually worth 3 credits each.

  • They must be passed within the first year (3 terms) of your program.

  • You must register for these courses through the M.Sc.P. program of study.

  • You will receive a letter grade (from A+ to E).

How to register:

  • Go to the web site, click Current student and then M.Sc.

  • Refer to the option structures: click the option you’ve chosen and familiarize yourself with it. You can read a course’s description by clicking the hyperlink.

  • You can then go to HEC en ligne to register. Please refer to the registration help videos for help on how to register.
