Correcting your personal information |
Contact informationIf your contact information (mailing address, e-mail address or phone number) has changed since you were admitted to HEC Montréal, it is important to update it promptly. Make any necessary changes online through HEC en ligne. + Name changeSince the Fall 2000 semester, the MELS has obliged Quebec universities to obtain a permanent code assigned and validated by the Ministry for each registered student. The “permanent code” is a code that the province’s ministry of education, the ministère de l’Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS), uses to identify individual students. It consists of four letters followed by eight digits. If the name appearing in the MELS file differs from the one on record at HEC Montréal, we are required to modify it to bring it in line with the data held by the MELS. If, while consulting your record on HEC en ligne, you notice that your name has been changed and that you wish to modify it, you will need to provide the following documents:
Failing this, your name will remain as it is currently in HEC en ligne. For further information, please e-mail us at changementdenom@hec.ca. |
