 "With Great Distinction" Citation

HEC Montréal transcripts are marked “WITH GREAT DISTINCTION” when a student’s cumulative grade-point average (CGPA) is 3.7 or higher at the end of a term.

This policy, rewarding students for outstanding academic achievement, applies to all programs of study except the PhD program.

To receive a mention of Excellence on their transcript, students in all programs must have earned at least 15 credits, with the exception of those in the B.B.A. (30 credits) and MBA (16.5 credits) programs.

"With great distinction"... a seal of quality

This citation of excellence says a great deal about the merits and achievements of a student or graduate.

It salutes the individual’s commitment and hard work, and is sure to help open all kinds of doors—when looking for a job, applying for bursaries or scholarships, or seeking admission to a graduate or post-graduate program.

As we all know, marking systems vary from one university to another around the world. This citation of excellence will serve as a seal of quality, attesting to students’ and graduates’ skills and achievements, wherever they go.
