Frequently Asked Questions

 

  • Am I invited to attend the next graduation ceremony?

You will be invited if you meet the graduating criteria and have not been invited to a prior ceremony (even if you decided not to participate). If you are invited, you will receive an invitation by mail two months before the ceremony with the instructions for registration.

 

  • I would like to attend the ceremony but the deadline has passed. What should I do?

You must contact Student Services.

 

  • I would like more tickets for additional guests. Is it possible to obtain any?

You must contact Student Services.

 

  • There are children and / or elderly people among my guests. What can I do to accommodate them and to avoid disturbance during the ceremony?

Mention this information in your registration form or write to Student Services  if you have forgotten to do so.

 

  • What happens if graduate tickets or guest tickets are lost of forgotten on the day of the ceremony?

Graduates: Please come to the graduates' reception table to obtain a duplicate. Guests: Please come to the guests' reception table to get duplicates.

 

  • What happens in case of lateness the day of the ceremony?

Graduates: Please go to the graduates' reception table and a member of Student Services will take care of you. Guests: Please go to the guests' reception table and a member of Student Services will take care of you.

 

  • I can not attend the graduation ceremony. What are the procedures for obtaining my degree?

The diploma is mailed to the address listed in your HEC en ligne within 6 to 8 months after the end of your program. Contact the Registrar for more information.
