Student ID Card

    

Regardless of the program you’re in or the number of courses you’re taking, you must have a student ID card. You’ll be issued a single card for the duration of your studies, which is renewed each fall by means of a sticker. We highly recommend that you have it on you at all times.

Obtaining your student ID card

To get your student ID card, to renew it, or even to change your programm, you must have on hand a piece of valid photo ID as well as your student number. 

  

+  Summer Term

Starting Thursday, May 3, at the Coop HEC Montréal Shop (Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building, RC.111)

+  Fall Term

At the Hall des Fondateurs (Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building, Rez-de-chaussée):

- Tuesday 4 to Friday, September 7, from 11a.m. to 7p.m.
- Saturday, September 8, from 11a.m. to 2p.m.

At the Coop HEC Montréal Shop (Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building, RC.111):
- Starting Monday, September 10

+  Winter Term

At the Hall des Fondateurs (Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building, Rez-de-chaussée):

- Friday, January 4, from 1p.m. to 5p.m.
- Tuesday, January 8, from 11a.m. to 2p.m.

At the Coop HEC Montréal Shop (Côte-Sainte-Catherine Building, RC.111):
- Starting Monday, January 14

 

All student cards remain the property of HEC Montréal and must be returned on request. If you lose it, you will be charged a $10 fee for a new card.

 

All students must present their card to:

 

  • identify themselves at exams
  • borrow materials from the library
  • rent audiovisual equipment
  • use the computer labs
  • take part in any HEC Montréal activity
  • use CEPSUM, Université de Montréal’s sports complex
  • enter any HEC Montréal building outside regular opening hours
  • identify themselves to a security guard or other official HEC Montréal representative

A 2-in-1 card for HEC Montréal and the Coop HEC Montréal

Your student card is a combo card for both HEC Montréal and Coop HEC Montréal. One side is your HEC Montréal student ID and the other is your Coop HEC Montréal card. However, you’re under no obligation to become a Coop HEC Montréal member.
